I did this some 3 times again and again... always posted pic to one forum and asked if it's ok also by them(quite refreshing to do so... other people look on things that you haven't even noted before they say about it).

Damn difficult to make that snow to look good, had to use so much power on flash that the snow almost got blown and then I had to make this pic 3 times in ps before it was enough good to publish... shot with bare sb-600, so somekind of diffuser could have helped in that problem?

Stobist info:
Bare sb-600 from upright at 1/64 power at 0.5m distance.

I tried to shoot this with my Sunpak 422d also, but it's lowest power(1/16th) was just too much from that distance(it has gn 100 if I remember right). I also noted that it's color temp was a bit lower than in my sb-600, this might be a problem later on.

Still waiting for the another V2s receiver to arrive so I could use 2 strobes by the same time.

D200

Bought D200 ~week ago because my previous D70s had somekind of strange sensor problem :(

....not sorry about it at all, got almost enough money from insurange to buy an D200 as replacement :) And almost everything is better in D200, but I've still got to buy an battery pack for it.

I wanted to try this kind of simple lightning on me, and for my opinion it turned out to be great :)

One sb-600(1/16+0,7/85mm) at below the camera pointing to the white wall at the left. One hand is triggering he camera, the other is covering the flash to prevent straight light from coming to my face.
